Born in Moldova in the former Soviet Union, I have been singing since before I can remember. I sang folk music with my professional vocalist mother and began the study of classical violin at age five. After graduating from the University of Michigan with a BA in English Drama, I moved to Washington DC and quickly joined Fleur de Lis.
Today, I perform as a soloist on voice, guitar, fiddle, flute, recorder.
Additionally, I sing soprano and manage the a cappella holiday caroling group, The Philosopher’s Tones.
In 2011, I formed Open Fifth with incredible pianist Valerie Higgs. Together, we perform at colleges, universities, and private and corporate events.
I also facilitate team-building Work In Harmony workshops. Companies and organizations build crucial communication and motivation skills by singing together.
