And if things aren’t working, if we keep banging our heads against the wall, we have to be assessed. But, sometimes, it’s worth it to keep going. Perseverance counts for a lot. But remember to reassess every once in a while. After a while, your resources may be better used elsewhere. So, remember the wise words of Dorothy Parker. Sometimes, you have to kill your darlings. If it’s not working and you can’t get it to work, maybe it’s time for a new tack. That’s not quitting. That’s reassessing and changing your mind.
