Today’s Own Your Mind podcast episode reviews entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk‘s first book, “Crush It Why Now Is The Time To Cash In On Your Passion.”
In the episode, I look at the creative and inspirational aspects of the book and the author’s reflection on the importance of following your passions in order to succeed. The book came out in 2009, and I do recommend that you also listen to the audiobook as in it Vaynerchuk goes off script to update the evolution of his thoughts.
This book has special signific
ance for me because Vaynerchuk and I have a special connection that he does not know about. We were both born in the Soviet Union (though different parts of the country), and our families immigrated to the United States in the 1970s. We have some striking similarities and some glaring differences in how we approach business, creativity, and inspiration. I have been surprised by his body of work.
