Consistency is key
Today’s Show Up! Journal power words: sometimes the words that I write during my journaling hit me right between the eyes. I’m fighting that battle right now. I’m fighting the battle to remain consistent despite the progress.
If I progress, I want to motivate myself to progress more, to reach new heights. But sometimes, all I want to do is curl up with a good book.
Evolution and revolution don’t happen in a single minute. They happen through tenacious consistency. The Grand Canyon happened over millions of years, because the water kept coming. The same goes for us. We must embrace change consistently.
We can’t exercise once and think we’re done. We can’t reach out once and think we’ve built a relationship either personally and professionally. In order to do that, we have to reach out and communicate with care over the long haul. If we do, we will develop the trust that makes the best relationships work.
