truth telling even when it sucksIt’s not easy, but we have to don’t we? That’s the trouble with wanting to live a more truthful life. You can’t hide your head in the sand from something when that something lives in your head to begin with. Eventually, you’ve got to tell yourself the truth.

So, don’t run.

Some people tell you to practice radical self-acceptance. Today, I’m here to tell you to do something a little different. I’m here to ask you to practice radical truth-telling, at least to yourself.

Be super honest with yourself inside your own head, heart, and mind. That’s how you’ll be right with your internal process. No one can know you like you know yourself. And what’s trickier is that no one can delude you like you can delude yourself. That’s not the exact truth, is it? You always know when you aren’t being honest with yourself. You do. But how do you combat it when you’re hiding your head in the sand?
