This One Small Mindset Shift Changes Everything!

Sometimes, I write in hyperbole. I’d say we all do. However, this time, I mean it. If you shift this one thing, it can change everything.

Normally, on this podcast, I talk about how to improve our communications skills with others. At times like this one, I explore how we can better communicate with ourselves. That conversation you have with yourself is ongoing. Whether you realize it or not, you’re constantly talking to yourself. No, you aren’t speaking the words out loud (unless you’re like me). But you likely have a running litany of thoughts, ideas, and opinions going on.

Pictures and Words

Some of us think in pictures or images, and some of us do it in words. Either way, most of us are doing it every second we’re awake. That’s a lot of thoughts. It makes sense then to make sure that what we’re thinking has a positive impact on our lives. Just the sheer volume of thoughts makes it a necessity to orient our thoughts towards our highest and best good.
