Today’s Show Journal power words. In every second of every day, we make decisions. We choose how we will be, what we will do, and what we will say. In each of those instances, we decide, consciously or subconsciously, whether we will show courage or fear.
A fear response might make us feel safer in the moment. But it’s insidious. It is a temporary safety. And it will hurt us much more in the long run to give into fear. Sure, we can tango with it, but then we need to tell it to sit down and hush up. It can be there, but that doesn’t mean it gets to fill up our dance card.
Besides, courage has better moves.
