The power of being a student
Today, I honor those who heed the call to teach. No, it’s not national teachers’ day or anything. Sometimes, the sheer amount of work, dedication, and love that goes into teaching stuns me. To all of you who have taken up the mantle to guide others, to teach them, to imbue in them a sense of curiosity and wonder, I salute you.
The key to growth is to remain a student for the rest of our lives, to keep striving and learning. My goodness does it help if our teachers are people who are dedicated, wise, knowledgeable, and willing to share what they know.
