A micro-break in the middle of a hectic day can make all the difference in your productivity.

Not ready to tackle your next to-do item? Feeling bitten by the procrastination bug? Give yourself a full-fledged micro-break. Sit, relax, kick back – for healthy count of five. For that long, you can indulge in a daydream or a mini meditation. Whatever you do, don’t think about work or the task or anything but something silly or fun or relaxing. Make it as guilt-free as possible and enjoy the heck out of it. When you allow yourself a tiny moment of stress relief and joy in the middle of a flurry of activity, the entire flurry becomes much more manageable and you become much more rarin’ to go.
