Inertia Law of Success

Inertia law successThe law of inertia states that a body in motion tends to stay in motion and a body at rest tends to stay at rest. So, I who mostly do sedentary things like writing, making music, coaching and even public speaking (which isn’t exactly running a marathon) have decided that I must be in motion more.

As someone with hypothyroidism, it’s a challenge. And yet, I know that as soon as I start to move, everything gets easier. My muscles respond. My body stops hurting. And, of course, I achieve more.

And yet, I’m sure you know how hard it can be to just get started. It’s especially difficult if you’re hurting. If your body aches or your emotional state is low, depressed, sad, or in a bad way, it can be super hard to motivate and get up and move.

And that’s the ticket. Moving changes everything. It’s the laws of physics. As soon as you move, change begins. It may not be better immediately. It may take a while. But change will come.

You will improve. Your mind will improve. Your body will improve. Your thoughts and feelings will improve. Doing something means making waves. And eventually those waves can wear away the greatest stone.

Where are you? Are you moving or are you stuck in quicksand? Comment below and let me know. Let’s make some waves together.
