Now

What I’m up to now.

I’m editing my upcoming book, “Own Your Talk.” I have received comments from the first few beta readers. I’m incorporating them before I hand the book off to my editor. I’ve also edited the book myself some and added a bit more of my history as an abused child.

That was hard to write, but it helped illustrate why it’s crucial for us to feel free to express ourselves. I can’t wait to share it with you.

I’m also elbow-deep in Marie Forleo’s “B-School,” and I’m learning a lot.

The weather has finally warmed up enough that I can do my standing bag workouts outside again. Winter curtails my daily practice, but even a few minutes with gloves on gives me all sorts of energy and freedom.

I’m listening to some of the songs from the Passion New Orleans Live TV event. They sang a version of Celine Dion’s “Love Can Move Mountains” that just knocks it out of the park. And Seal and JenCarlos sang Tina Turner’s “We Don’t Need Another Hero.” Just wow!

Last but certainly not least, I’m planning the fun we’ll have when my husband and I travel to Cuba next month to learn about the art and music of that amazing land.
