I created this mandala art piece from images from all over the world. They depict Earth and Water in their various forms. But the leaves of the water lily plant combine the two. I created this mandala out of dozens of photos I took of flames in a bonfire (well in several bonfires over the years). I then assembled them into the mandala you see. The flame is about change. Fire takes what it burns and changes it from one state of matter into another one. When you burn a log, you release heat, light, and energy. But fire won’t work in a vacuum. It needs fuel and air. So, if you want to make a change, you’ll have to plan it and then act on it.
