How to find get the estimated taxes that you paid for this year (or whatever year you need).
Call 800 829 1040 to get the amount verbally. You’ll want to choose all the options that let you talk to an agent. When you get a live person, ask them for the dates and amounts of your estimated tax payments for the year you want. Then, order a transcript for later so you have written proof of how much you paid in estimated taxes.
* NOTE: I’m not a tax professional. This is just what I am doing to sort my receipts to make doing my taxes easier.
