Decide you deserve it

Today’s Show Up! Journal power words: “Decide You Deserve It,” is the name of my new book. I realized this morning that while I’m writing this book, the words to me exemplify power from within.

 Before we do anything else, before we make any choices, before we act or take step one towards a goal, we have to first decide that we deserve it. We deserve to succeed. We deserve to thrive. We deserve to exist. That last one is a biggie. Deep down, we all have to think we deserve to be here. Without that certainty, everything else becomes a much greater challenge. 

That certainty, that knowledge of our own fundamental self-worth makes everything else possible. So, I encourage you whatever it is you’re trying to do, decide you deserve it and then do the work to get it.
