An Announcement and How to Stay in the Moment While Achieving Dreams
Is it more important to achieve your dream or to be in the process of achieving it? Because here’s the thing. No matter how this evening’s book release event goes, I will be one step closer to achieving several dreams. And you’ll need to read the announcement below to see what I mean about that.
First, I will have had a book release event in New York City. Seriously! In New York! On Fifth Avenue. I mean, Come ON!
Regardless of how tonight’s workshop goes, I will have achieved that (with the help of many amazing people like Rich, Lara, Kristen, Eric, Patty, Miryam, Fiona, and Maria). I hope to report that everything was incredible. And even if it wasn’t, I’m moving towards these goals, step by step, every single day.
Second, although we haven’t done it yet, we are planning a major change. This week here has two purposes. First, the book event. Woo Hoo!!! Second, we have been looking at neighborhoods. TO MOVE TO! Yes, we’re moving. We’ll be packing up the dog, cats, juggling clubs, guitars, books, and fiddles and heading to the Big Apple.
An announcement on Achieving Dreams
I’ve been wanting to do this since I first saw the New York skyline when our plane flew over New York and into JFK airport when we immigrated to the USA in 1974. It’s been 45 years. That’s long enough to wait, don’t you think?
Both our businesses are taking us up here. In order to grow and rise to the next level of what we both do, we need to make this change. It’s time, and we’re both excited.
We’ll still be back in the DC area a lot for various gigs and other business events (and to see all our good friends, of course), but soon, we’ll be New Yorkers.
Wow!
