Start Writing Books – The Sequel
Here’s the sequel of how to finish your first draft. In last week’s podcast episode, I explored how to start writing your book. I also introduced the workbook that will help you get started writing. (If you complete the workbook, in the end, you’ll have a great outline for your entire book.) This week I go through the process of getting through the first draft. That’s the most important thing, I think. Many people start their books with every intention of finishing. But one thing or another stops them.
In today’s episode, I talk about how to beat some of those stoppers. I delve into writer’s block. Then, I look at the writing life, how to flourish, and what to do when you wilt. Further, I discuss developing a writing routine. Next, I delve into the writing mindset, overcoming doubts, and how to work with beta readers. Last, I talk what to do about editing and the most crucial step in making sure you’re prepped to bring the book to publication.

This episode is brought to you by my latest book, Speak From Within.
