Revel in Being Imperfect
This picture isn’t perfect. That much is true. And I can obsess over that fact or I can celebrate that I captured an instant, a fleeting moment in time where a beautiful swallowtail butterfly settled on a flower on a warm late summer morning.
?
Isn’t that how it is with so many things? Instead of putting ourselves out there, we obsess over details. Instead of starting, we worry about how it might not come out perfect. Instead of persevering, we never get up out of our chairs.
?
I say enough. Take flawed pictures. Write flawed books. Only keep putting yourself out there. Keep creating. Keep writing. Revel in being imperfect. We all are anyway. Why not celebrate it?
