Today's Tarot: Six of Rods (victory, acclaim, satisfaction)
Ah, the laurel wreath, it definitely makes me think of knights emerging victorious from battle. It brings to mind the age of chivalry, and great big deeds and quests. Do we have those nowadays? Do we have our own personal knight’s quests where we have to slay dragons and find the key to open the deep dark prison and rescue the princess (or prince)?
I actually think we do. I don’t think they are on the same plane as the great literary works or historical figures, but they are there.
The question then becomes what is that you had to do, or will have to do, to win? And, can you live with it and thrive on it? If so, if you can easily jump up and down and say, “Yes! It’s worth the price,” then, I say go for it because you will get what you want. But, you will absolutely need to be sure that you wanted what you got. It means taking the time to plan, to think before you do.
And if it won’t be worth the price, feel free to walk away. You are not bound any knight’s creed. Your life=your choices.
Do what you feel is right, go for exactly what you want (and take the time to figure out exactly why you want it) and you will succeed.
